I love to travel and meet new people, and while this is a known cliche for my demographic, it fuels my desire to photograph. When I photograph people, I like to capture their personality, highlighting their unique qualities. My best work is the result of getting to know my client and thats why I offer pre-shoot consultations, so I know exactly what visual approach to take.
My personal photography follows self exploration from lifestyle portraiture, to night landscapes. Fascinated with the relationship between light and dark, I often take inspiration from sculptors, painters, and light installation artists, as they capture and manipulate their own works with light. As well as photography I have studied in cinematography, documentary production, drawing and graphic design, giving me the tools I need for my creative freedom.
I grew up in Northamptonshire and fell into the world of photography on a trip to New Zealand. Not being able to put down my parents modest compact camera, I discovered a need to photograph. Studying Photography at college sparked my exploration of creativity and encouraged me to enrol with a BA in Photography at the University of Hertfordshire, graduating in 2017.
